You can keep an eye on your home from anywhere in the world with the Xiaomi MiJia, it is as easy as just opening up an app.

Xiaomi Mjiia is a new addition to the MiHome ecosystem and offers an all in one home IP camera solution. Equipped with Full HD and 360-degree motion detection, the MiJia camera can follow movement across the room. When at home, you can use it as a webcam for video calls with your friends, family members or work colleagues. Once set up it can even send you an alert to your phone if any movement is detected. Xiaomi MiJia Is Wireless

The camera connects to your Android or iOS device via Wi-Fi and can be moved around easily anywhere in your home. All you need to do is install the Xiaomi app and program your wifi password into the camera then it is all ready to go.

Intercom Mode

Pressing the front button will video call the paired phone; from the phone, you can also connect to the camera for a call. The noise reduction and one-button calling make it easy to communicate and keep in touch with your family.

As a security camera

Offering motion detection it can send you alerts to your phone and gives a quality video feed, for inside the home it is excellent and even can be easily repositioned and moved around.

The anti-distortion feature coupled with the F1.8 aperture lens lets you enjoy more vibrant colors and a heightened visual experience.

Full HD

With a 1080P system, we expect the detail to be sufficient for home security, given it will be used for streaming through your phone stream will be of a lower quality than if you view the video playback from the memory card. This is normal tho and similar to the XiaomiYi action camera, the best quality comes from the memory card, not the stream.

Night Vision

When the night vision is enabled, the camera can still detect movement and capture black and white video.

Mounting

With a smooth rubber base it is designed to be placed on top of surfaces, such as a desk or shelf, so all you need is a flat surface to put it. Xiaomi has created this to be user-friendly, so it is easy to use, the trade-off is tho however if you are looking for a more permanent solution this does lack wall mount or fixed-location options.

Distortionless image capture

Similar to their Xiaomi action camera you have the option to have a distortionless camera image, so there is no fisheye effect and instead of a flat looking display.
