What Is It?
Jakcom IR one is a universal remote controller that plugs into the headphone port of a smartphone, or tablet. It works with an app, and it can replace all of your infrared remote controllers. It can control your TV, SBT, air conditioner, projector, OTTBOX, DVD, amplifier, camera, fan, IRSwitch, etc.

Jakcom IR one is compatible with iOs and Android smartphones. On the product’s page there is a list of all the smartphones that are compatible with Jakcom IR one, and it is recommended not to use it with a smartphone that is not on that list.
It can work from distance until 12 meters, and it doesn’t need to be charged.
As the Jakcom IR one is plugged into the headphone jack, obviously you can’t use your earphones at the same time.
The Jakcom IR one itself is really tiny and it looks nice on the phone. It’s like a dust proof accessory.
How Does It Work?
After you download the app “ZazaRemote”, and you plug the Jakcom IR one into the headphones jack, then you need to turn it right. That is how you turn it on. In order to turn it off you turn it left. There is no need to plug and unplug it since you can decide when you want to turn it on and off.
Once it’s on, and you’re on the app, a tab that asks you to select a device will open. You just select the “Jakcom IR one” image, and then choose from the list of devices the one you want to pair it with.
No matter which device you will click on, a list with brands should appear.
A disadvantage is that the brand of the device you want to pair it with might not be on the list. The list has almost everything though so most of the times you should be able to find what you’re looking for.
All in all, the device does in fact work, and it’s available at a low price. Why use so many remote controllers then, when you can have them all in one?
