The latest Eachine Falcon 250 arrived in the office today and despite the rain outside we still managed to spin the rotors in the studio and tore it down to show the real insides. It is more lighter and should be much faster than it’s predecessor the Eachine Racer 250. Here is what we saw the few hours we had it.

It comes with a case and FlySky controller, that removes the question of how to transport it and how to controll it.

The battery
It comes with an Eachine branded 1,500 mAh 3 cell battery, the Falcon is however yearning to be upgraded to 4 cells for maximum speed and a 4 cell should be on your list of extras if you already have racing experience.
The camera
The camera is mounted on a unique plastic ring that makes it lighter than the usual sliding plate and also is attached to the rubber grommets of the camera mount above so also has slight vibration dampening.

The flight controller
We didn’t (yet) test the FC to see any limitations on the software front but it does have the standard CC3D board with standard connections. Given the standard hardware, we expect it to be also available in the BNF and no receiver format.
The frame
Feels like real carbon fiber but we will confirm that soon, it is light and has plenty of unrestricted room for a larger battery on the top. A great improvement on the Racer as you can now also position it to be center-weighted. (The Eachine racer was slightly rear heavy with the battery sitting off-center.)

The motors
They are MT 2204 2300KW brushless and sit on a red Eachine plastic pad that gives the tilted angle to the motors.
The Lights

Included in the Kit
- The battery
- imax RC 3/4 cell battery charger
- 4 blades
- A CD ( We have not yet seen what is on it).
The Teardown
Compared to the Racer, this is one easy quad to take apart, you can get into almost all of the guts by just removing the 8 top screws on the top. The Photos of the teardown are below.
When it lands?
It is prebuilt and includes everything you need to race, for FPV tho you will still need googles or a screen. For the test we used the Eachine LCD58025 diversity screen but you can use any 32 channel screen you have provided it is 5.8G.
When will we fly it?
We expect the sun to shine next week so some time then we should be flying it and will update when we publish a video. Once we become more confident we will also try with a 4s battery as that will show the true high performance of the Falcon.
This Eachine is now officially released and is available now on the official page.
