Wait…Eachcine Make Boats??
Eachine have been doing well in the multicopter segment and are looking keen to cash in on their reputation by offering affordable ready to go racing setup for the water. Although this does not extremely break the price barrier, it still sits competitively priced. Here are the key points of character the new eye 500 possess.
Eye 500’s Unflippable design
If you are prone to getting aggressive and flipping your craft, the Eachine engineered a half open cavity hull to flip you back around if you invert.
It may look strange but when moving, the stability and buoyancy of the eye 500 is not hindered and the forward momentum keeps the water out. If you do invert, it will fill the hull on one side and flip it back over.
Powering the Eachine Eye
The motor
Right in the core of the Eye 500 is a Xteam water cooled brushless 4700kw motor. The prop is directly driven by the motor.
The Receiver
The MeritRC 3 channel receiver.
The FPV Camera
- Incorporating the Eachine ET600 there is a powerful 600mW transmitter for a great range on the open water.
- The whole FPV setup is in the top and you can switch between the FPV or non FPV version.
- Connecting the power to the FPV section uses the balance charger connection.

Battery options,

For the fastest rated speed u need to use a 3 cell battery. If you are looking for less aggressive speeds a 2 cell battery can also be used. Unless you have to , stick with a 3 cell. For FPV to startup you also must use a 3 cell battery.
The ESC

Is a 30 a 3 cell max, the whole unit is sealed so we cant see the exact components but Eachine have told us it is a Hobbywing SEAKING-31A-RTR .
