Having a Bluetooth keyboard also means you can use it for many devices, with 3 preset parings you can easily switch between up to 3 devices even if they are all in the same room. It uses separate channels to avoid the need to re-pair as you alternate between devices, your PC, phone and tablet can all have their own channel and you can switch almost instantly between them.

The RK61 Fn Function layer

As you have a few keys missing compared to a full size keyboard, RK have added a function button, with it you then have access so the arrow buttons, F1-F12. The Fn key also is used to access the 3 Bluetooth mode shortcut and changing the key LED brightness.

Back-lit keys : 4 modes of brightness,

Each key had a white LED behind it and gives it a soft white light, there are 4 brightness modes and you can easily adjust them with the Fn key.

Flashing caps lock and battery life

When the battery is getting low the caps lock light will flash indicating time for a charge, if you are in Bluetooth mode the battery is expected to last about 10 hours or about 15 days in standby. For desktop you can just leave it plugged in.

Going mechanical with the RK61

Competitively priced the RK61 is a huge upgrade from a regular keyboard, although not as advanced in “Fn” functions, when it comes to the actual typing it has received great reviews and is perfect for typists and gamers looking to make the jump to mechanical.
