You can use the vast array of scanning apps out there to get the phones rated specs, sometimes this can also be faked tho, Xiaomi makes it easy with an extra app that you run in the MIUI interface that gives a simple and accurate answer to the question, is my Xiaomi fake.

That’s how easy it is to test for fake Xiaomi phones, be sure to contact your supplier if you have in fact received one that makes a red screen.
Are fake Xiaomi Phones Good?
Originals perform better and are fully supported by updates but I’m sure there are some fakes that are still decent fully working phones, so you might not even notice any difference unless you are a gamer or testing the performance, so even if you have had yours for a while, have a check as some are also dangerous and use cheap batteries that can get hot or explode.
If you are looking for a Xiaomi, the originals are available here.
