It races on water! FS racing has come up with a unique tyre design that allows the FS-54692 to race on liquid water. We haven’t seen anything so cool since the car quadcopter.
Although a bit pricey compared to similar sized cars this offers a unique amphibious mode that lets you navigate the water just like it is a sand dune.
The handling
The air filled tires have large horizontal treads that work like a paddle boat by pushing the car along as the wheels spin. The full 4WD system allows you to easily turn sharp on water.
Can it drive on land?
The wheels are a bit higher but it can be used on the ground too, the bonus included regular wheels should be used if you are primarily on land as with water tires you get less grip and you also would quickly wear down the water wheels.
You might think a paddle wheel is slow and inefficient on the water, and although it might not be as fast of the mark as some racing boats, it is still surprisingly quick and handles sharp turns. The controls and drift dynamics when you drive on water are similar to racing on a dirt track.
