Flying 6CH is no easy feat, it requires a lot of practice and time to become a master, if you’re ready for he challenge or perhaps are after a bargain 6CH heli the K100 and K110 are a fresh offering in the world of heli flying.

XK is a new company that started up this year and they have a range of RC stuff from cars to planes, this week we received a sample of their 6CH helis that are pumped with value and sport a  Futaba compatible protocol.

XK helis are Futaba compatible.

Futaba  are known as one of the best makes of transmitters, the beautiful thing about both the K110 and K100 is they can seamlessly connect to these transmitters. So, if you already have a Futaba then the Falcon or Blast is probably one of the most affordable full 6CH Helis around.

Box Stats

The differences are subtle and can be totally summed up by the box label, the K100 is a brushed core-less 8520 and the K110 has a brushless 1106 motor. Sizes are slightly different and so is the weight with the Blast being slightly longer and more heavier.

I found it odd that the battery is different between the two models, possibly to reduce stress on the brushed motor and prevent from overheating, or just simply to make it lighter. I have not heard any official reason.

The red Blast heli comes with a larger 450mAh battery whereas the Falcon only has a 250 mAh battery.

With the K100 and K110; XK are trying to breathe new life into a world of flying that sadly is being eaten up by quads, discover and develop real flying skills with these bad boys. Just a warning though, once you discover full 6CH flight you wont want to fly anything else.

As always let me know if you want me to check any other aspects out, and happy flying!
