Mantistek has created a set of keys for those who love a good game. If you’ve been looking for a gaming keyboard on the cheap, Mantistek’s 104 Key 3-Color Led Breathing Back Lit Wired Gaming Keyboard might have an unusually long product title but it is oozing with gamer vibes.

Removable Keys
Removable keys are the foundation of customization, you can change them around with other cap designs or even make your own. This also makes it cleaner as it will not collect as much crap that usually collects and grows underneath regular keyboards keys.
Looks Mechanical but it is not…
Overall the gaming keyboard offers a nice range of mechanical style and operation at a fraction of the cost of a real mechanical keyboard. It does however not have the ability to tilt up at all so it lies flat, you can put something underneath but it is something that could have been included.
With a total of 104 keys, it is a standard array of buttons, but the functions are multiplied with the “Fn” key, this unlocks a lot more shortcuts and turns regular keyboard buttons into shortcut keys (just like a laptops laptop FN key).

Another small release this month from the Manitisek mill is the mini keyboard, it offers a fully wireless mouse and keyboard combination.
Universal compatibility
The driverless design of the receiver means you can use it even on a tablet or phone with an OTG cable. However, if you were aiming for a mobile keyboard, Bluetooth would be my recommendation, as you don’t need any adapters. With this in mind, the MK1 would be ideal for your smart tv/tv box or home entertainment PC. You no longer need to have a large keyboard/mouse and can navigate the web, YouTube, and media library from the couch.
Can I use it as a gaming controller?
If you are playing basic games it will be fine, it can be difficult to use the mouse and keyboard at the same time, for hardcore gaming you’d be much better of with a separated keyboard and mouse.
Economical on the batteries
With its auto power off it has a life similar to regular wireless keyboards. The only downside to this design is the battery power, it runs of AAA batteries. If you are using it just as a remote or for navigating YouTube it should last ages, but if you are planning to use for gaming or browsing the net my advice is to get some rechargeable aaa’s or good lithium batteries.
