We heard a lot of good comments about Earson-151 Mammoth speaker, and now his brother comes with even better comments, Earson-160.
About the Earson ER-160 Mammoth Speaker.
Earson ER-160 is a speaker made mostly for those who love outdoor activities. It’s waterproof, dust-proof, anti-scratch, and shockproof. It’s a portable speaker, even though a little bit heavy, with a solid structure.
It has a nice design, and it’s available in four different colors; black, blue, orange, and green. Sound is pretty loud and clear. The quality of the sound is good. It’s battery lasts for about 2.5 hours on maximum volume, a lot longer on medium volume. Make sure you’ll fully charge it the first time before you use it. There is a battery indicator on top of the speaker so you can check when it’s fully charged and how much battery you have left.
It comes with a USB charge cable, an audio cable, and a buckle, so you can easily clip it on a backpack or a a bag. There is also a user’s manual included in the package, but it’s in Chinese. It’s pretty simple to figure out how everything works even if you’ve never used a speaker before, so you don’t really need the manual.
How to Use the Speaker.
You can play media files either by using Bluetooth, an aux cable, or a TF memory card. You can find the TF card and aux cable receiver at the left side of the speaker, together with the USB receiver.
Press the on/off button for a few seconds to turn the speaker on. You’ll here a voice saying “Bluetooth mode”.
To use Bluetooth click the “M” button on top of the speaker ( next to the turn on/off button), and then turn on Bluetooth on your phone or tablet and wait until you see “ER160”. Once it says it’s connected you can start playing media files.
You can switch songs from the arrow buttons on top of the speaker, and play and pause music from the big button at the right side of the speaker. That is also the volume button.
Overall, we really liked it, it’s quality, it’s design, and it’s functions. For more information about it have a look at its product page.
