Eachine’s Wizzard X220 is an FPV ready to fly the quad with triple-blade rotors and a unique easy to repair the frame. We created a quick overview of the third model to be released this month.
What is included in the X220 kit?
You get the full kit of the usual’s,
- The token Flysky transmitter
- 3 Cell Eachine 1500mAh Battery
- A Charger
- 2 Spanners
A nice addition to this package is the inclusion of 20 blades, an excellent level of stock for your crash kit.
What is special about this Eachine?
With a growing number of Eachine models emerging, it can be difficult to see any significant differences between them, there are however a few things that set this apart from some of the other Eachines.
A new frame Design
The Eachine Wizard has incorporated separate single arms for the motors, they are all braced together with a middle and bottom plate that keeps the arms locked in place. Combine that with the ESC’s that are not directly attached to the arms, and you can quickly replace a motor arm by just unscrewing the motor and connection to the central plates. This dramatically simplifies the process when compared to some of their other racers.
Tripple Blades
The Wizards 220 has 3 blades. Although quite a debated topic, 3 blades reduce the vibration and make the hovering more stable, it can also make the response in changing direction more sluggish.
Compared to the forward tilting Falcons we expect it to be slower but more stable. If you are looking for speed, they also released the fast tilt motor 180 racer.
Grab a 4 cell
The included battery is a 3S and will not give the full performance of the quad, for that you need a 4S that will fit within the battery area.
Christmas is coming early for Eachine
Likely Eachine is racing to have a good selection of fresh items for the Christmas buildup, and this sets them up for the holiday season and shopping sprees.
Priced at under $200 it comes competitively priced (Eachine’s usual style) at View our official Eachine Wizzard X220 page for the full breakdown of this racer.
