Similar in design to the Walkera furious, the Eachine racer 180 FPV packs the tilting rotors into a nice small sized unit. The speed improvement with tilting motors has been proven and we expect this to be their fastest 180 yet.
Tilting rotors
All this added movement greatly increases the complexity of the design. The Walkera has a complex set of gears and shafts that give the tilting function, it may be ultra fast but it also might need a bit of time for repairs if you break an axle. For an advance flyer this will be a great speedster. If you are a beginner we would recommend a stronger fixed rotor such as the eachine falcon.
4 Cell
Running of a 4 cell battery gives the higher voltage needed to really pump the 2350KV motors into lighting race speed. Given the weight of the quad and size of the battery, the estimated 8-9 mins is really surprising.
This 180 is expected to be really fast but being more heavier than most other 180’s it might have some really fast forward momentum but maneuvering and changing direction are expected to be more slower.
Racestar motors
RaceStar 2205 motors are seen on the picture provided, something must have changed as Eachine normally include their own labeled motors.

This has been a busy month for Eachine they also announced their new FPV VR a few days ago. The 180 V3 does not include a set of goggles in the standard package and if you are looking for FPV flight, the new D2 googles are a great option to get the full setup.
