Eachine VR D2
Labeled after their D1 Eachine have launched the V2 which offers an all around upgraded spec and design, here are the highlights of the latest VR from Eachine.
Dual antennae
Having both an mushroom and a patch antenna means you have both directional reception and an all around reception, if you are facing the direction of the craft it will have superior reception than a standard mushroom or dual mushroom.
Universal 18650 batteries
The VR D2 ditches the other 9V Eachine style batteries in favor of the widely available flashlight 18650 batteries, this means you can easily use third party batteries and chargers. There are some offering much higher mAh than the Eachine rated 2000 mAh so it is easy to upgrade to something that lasts longer.
No more glasses! Adjustable focus
The slider on the side is used to adjust the screens focus, for all those with glasses that means you can enjoy crisp FPV video without needing to awkwardly wear both your glasses and the D2.
Missing HD
Its not a deal breaker given the price and is more than suitable for FPV, possibly a feature left for the Eachine VR D3. With an 800×480 screen it will still give a clear feed for racing.
Price
Eachine have rocketed out of nowhere in the last few years and have created a solid reputation for value and are renound for beating others on price. Although it lacks an HD screen it brings a huge lot of function, it is difficult to beat what the D2 offers for only $70.
