Performance: Speed and Agility
Avata 2 is for the thrill-seekers. It has a full Manual Mode and can hit 27m/s. If you want to do flips and power loops, this is your drone.
Avata 360 does not have a manual mode. It is slower and more focused on the shot. However, it features ActiveTrack 360°, which follows you perfectly from any angle without you having to touch the sticks.
Connectivity: Transmission Range and Controller
Both drones use DJI’s latest transmission tech to keep your video feed clear. They both work with the RC Motion 3, making them very easy to fly for beginners. The Avata 360 feels especially cool with the newest goggles because you can look around the 360-degree scene just by moving your head.
Intelligent Flight

DJI Avata 360 vs Avata 2: Which is Better for You?
Rather than the DJI Avata 2, I prefer the Avata 360. Because the Avata 360 gives you creative insurance. Thus, you can focus on the flight, and the drone handles the safety and the scenery.
The Avata 360 is the ultimate tool if you want to create something unique. Being able to capture everything in 8K and knowing the drone won’t crash because of its 360-degree sensors is a huge relief.
If you love the fast speed FPV flight, want to fly at 27m/s, and need your videos ready to post in seconds, the Avata 2 is your best bet.
