There are some essential tools and parts every flyer should have. If you are serious about going out flying, have all of these crucial items.

blades

Blades

The number one spare to have, we recommend 10 or more spare blades always on hand.

motors

Motors

Even if you don’t damage them in a crash, motors can die, at least 2 should be in your kit.

solder iron portable

Portable Soldering Iron

Motor ripped off, need to swap out a dead FC? Make repairs on-site and without wall power. We have irons powered by your car or even fully portable rechargeable soldering irons.

XT connector

Battery Connectors

Not commonly damaged, but if it is, you don’t want to wait months for a simple connector. These are cheap and should be stocked just in case.

antenne

Spare Antenna

Commonly snapped during crashes, if your quad has one sticking out, get a few spares. Just make sure any mushroom antennas are polarized the right way.

frame arms

Frame Parts

Specific to your frame, a spare set of arms is usually a good idea.

standoffs

Standoffs

If your frame has these, they can lose their thread or bend. As part of your frame, they are vital for strength and stability. They are also low cost and should be bought when you get your frame.

Want something tough?

If you are starting out or crash a lot, consider one of our indestructible frames under $30.

Be prepared

With a crash kit, you are ready to repair on-site and keep flying for longer.
Just don’t forget the spare batteries.
