Last month, I received my new Angwatt T1 3.0 E-scooter. It is an upgraded version of the Angwatt T1 2.0. Angwatt claims that it is more stable, powerful, and durable than the T1 2.0. Now, let’s test it out.

Motor & Performance

The Angwatt T1 3.0 is a dual-motor E-scooter. The two 3000W motors provide a powerful punch. Acceleration is instant and powerful enough to pull you through 50-degree weather without the motors overheating. With such a strong motor, the Angwatt T1 3.0 top speed is up to 85km/h. What I noticed right away was the difference in how that power is delivered through the new 45A motor. Instead of the harsh and erratic power fluctuations found on older, more power-hungry scooters, the 3.0 delivers a consistent speed. This makes getting around small towns as easy as riding on an open road, while the new NFC center console lets you get in and go without a key.

Batteriekapazität

Der 60V A-Grade lithium battery holds up well. When fully charged, you can expect between 80 and 105 kilometers of travel, depending on how hard you push. In my extensive testing, I found that the battery voltage remained high even as its capacity decreased, meaning you didn’t lose performance in the middle of your trip. This extended range makes it a great choice for long-distance travel, allowing you to go days between stops if you’re just doing local errands.

Rahmen

The biggest difference you’ll notice when you stand on the T1 3.0 is how solid its frame has become. The move to a metal rear arm is a big improvement over the standard parts found on the 2.0, as it eliminates the little creaks and groans you usually feel during hard braking. Every element of the structure, from the aluminum frame to the sturdy rear arm, feels like it was designed to take abuse. And it supports a max load of about 200 kg. I also appreciate the smooth internal wiring and the new waterproof silicone seal. These little touches show that we’ve focused on long-term reliability, ensuring that mud, bumps, and wet weather don’t cause you to have to go to the dealer. It’s a tough machine that resists damage.

Bremssystem

Stopping a 52kg scooter from 80km/h takes serious gear, and the DYISLAND dual disc brakes on the 3.0 do a great job. The hydraulic system is still good and offers good modulation, meaning you can shave off a little speed or stop anything without a lot of manual effort. The large brake calipers dissipate heat well, so I didn’t experience any brake fade even after going down several times. With the electric brake system, the 3.0 gives you a level of stopping confidence that was lacking on earlier versions, allowing you to go faster because you know exactly how fast you can stop.

Stability and Control

The most important thing for me is how stable the 3.0 feels at high speeds. Angwatt has thickened the front fork and added a speed bump, which completely changes the scooter’s handling. On the 2.0, hitting top speed could have felt a little wobbly, but the 3.0 is straight as an arrow with no sway bar. The combination of front and rear shock absorbers and rear shock absorbers work well with the 11 Zoll tubeless road tires to get you over potholes and rocks. You don’t have to fight with the ropes to maintain your line, making long rides more enjoyable and less tiring on your arms and shoulders.

Stable Ride: Stable Front Reach

The most immediate improvement in the T1 3.0 is the front linkage, which is stronger, more visible, and more rigid than the standard version. By increasing the length and density of the steering column material, Angwatt has effectively eliminated the “backward sway” that is often seen at high speeds. This makes for a more stable and confident riding experience, especially when pushing the scooter towards its 85 km/h limit on uneven terrain.

Stable Technology: Engineered Power

In terms of design, the 3.0 is a different beast. The unique update is the engineered rear arm, replacing the standard 2.0 components. The process of machining the steel makes the steel larger and stronger, providing greater rigidity and greater resistance to failure. Combined with a strong and stable rear axle that provides a stable platform for your foot, the entire chassis feels solid and very sturdy under heavy loads.

Built to Last: A Strong and Tough Design

The T1 3.0 is very sturdy due to its focus on long-term reliability and ease of maintenance. On the front, the redesigned controller has a simplified wiring structure, reducing the risk of electrical damage and making repairs much easier. On the back, a waterproof silicone pad and sturdy control materials allow the scooter to withstand daily wear and tear and harsh weather conditions without losing its beauty or functionality.
