BlitzWolf has been around for a few years now, and they have a developed a decent range of mobile accessories. They have now released a new 20W speaker that is both indoor and outdoor friendly.
Smooth cast aluminum shell
Both inside and out, the BW AS1 looks excellent, the single cast frame gives it a classy style and also the strength to keep looking good even if used outdoors.

With two 10W speakers and twin active radiators, it is a compact yet powerful speaker.
Battery life
The AS1 is rated to last 7-11 hours on a charge when used at 50% volume. This obviously will vary based on the music and volume you listen to. This power comes from a decently sized internal 5200mAh battery.
Standard playback controls
You have access to 4 buttons that have the usual Bluetooth speaker functions; change track, volume, play/pause and pick up/receive calls. The microphone is embedded in the front and is activated during a call.
Overall impression
- The sound is great, it goes down to 100Hz, and lower than their previous models, the style also universally suits both indoors and out.
- The neutral colors and strong material suit both indoors and out.
- The battery life is decent, their other 20W speaker, the BlitzWolf F4 has the same 20W spec but only a 4000mAh battery.
AS1 is BlitzWolf’s best sounding speaker yet, and one of our best Bluetooth speakers of 2018.
